William A. Kent, Founder and Director, is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences. He has dedicated himself since 1985 to bringing quality hearing healthcare to Long Island through multiple offices and locations without sacrificing “top quality care”. Mr. Kent is hands-on, and involved with patient issues of, assuring that patient speedy and satisfactory results. “I want patients to be treated the same way that you and I want to be treated, with dignity, respect, and being honest”, he's been heard saying to his staff at meetings. He really is not a tolerant individual when it comes to anything other than the best for our patients.
Mr. Kent has been active in many civic and charity events over his lifetime. He is a past President of the New York State Hearing Aid Society. He was selected by the New York State Secretary of State as a steering committee member responsible for the development of new hearing aid dispenser licensing law, which ultimately was passed by the state legislatures, and is currently in effect. Mr. Kent is married to his wife, Linda, for over 40 years. They have 4 children, all of whom are active in the family practice.
